Eligibility

Applicants must possess an appropriate professional health qualification and have at least two years postgraduate clinical experience.

Content

PSMX 426 will provide students with an understanding of the advanced use of IPT for depression, and a critical evaluation of how it has been developed for other disorders. Students will understand the clinical trials in the development of IPT and the use of IPT in a mental health service.

Teaching Arrangements

Four compulsory two-day workshops - dates to be arranged.

Assessment

There are three assessment items for this paper which comprise two written assignments and one group case presentation.
