IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ASCEPT (NZ), 2010
Our annual
one-day scientific meeting reviews pharmacogenetics
and pharmacogenomics research from
around
the country and further afield. Attendance is open to all,
and as the meeting costs are sponsored by the Carney Centre
there is no registration
charge. We do, however, request that you register for
planning purposes. Registration deadline is 13 August, but
there are limited places and they will be allocated on a first-come
first-served basis.
Please let us know if you would like to present at
the meeting. Prior
programmes and
instructions for preparing abstracts are
below. The abstract deadline is 30th July.
The 2010 meeting will be held on 31 August, at University
of Otago, Christchurch (formerly Christchurch school of Medicine & Health
Sciences). This meeting will be back-back with the NZ
ASCEPT Meeting, but is open to all whether or not you are planning
to attend ASCEPT. We are located at the corner of Riccarton
and Hagley Avenues, Christchurch
(map here -
UOC building in grey, marked "School of Medicine").
When you get here, look for the yellow "Research
Saves Lives" slogan).
Confirmed speakers:
Ass Prof David
Joyce (University of Western Australaia, Perth) - CYP2D6
Pharmacogenetics in Clinical Decision Making.
