Library - Off-Campus Access to Resources

University staff and students can access library resources from anywhere (including the CDHB network) using their university username.

• Click on ' Off-Campus Access to Resources ' on the library menu (left hand side of this page) to get the log in screen.
• Access to online resources is made available solely for the purpose of teaching, academic research or private study by the individual.
• Use for commercial purposes, paid or unpaid, including commercial research is not permitted.

Don’t have a university username?

1. University of Otago registered Students

University of Otago students should contact the IT Helpdesk: Note that University usernames expire on termination of course for students or on termination of employment for staff.

2. University of Otago paid Staff

University of Otago staff members should contact their department administrator. Details are available from the following webpage:

3. Staff on contract with the University of Otago (includes Clinical Lecturers)

If you aren’t a University of Otago staff member or student but have a signed and authorised agreement (signed by the relevant Dean or Pro Vice-Chancellor) to provide teaching, clinical supervision or research services to the University then you may be entitled to a username. 4. Others

Access to online resources licenced by the University of Otago is only available to staff and students of the University of Otago.
