Library - Review of Canterbury Medical Library 2003

A review of Canterbury Medical Library was carried out by Carolyn Young, Acting Director Library Services, Queensland University of Technology in March and her report has now been released.

The report emphasizes the need for high quality, up to date information resources to support evidence-based practice for hospital services and the education of health science students.

A Working Group convened on behalf of CSMHS, CDHB, and the University will consider the recommendations and prepare an implementation plan.

A number of those who sent submissions or responded to the survey expressed the need for an additional photocopier within Canterbury Medical Library. Action already taken in response to this request and an additional photocopier will be made available shortly.
